A good cheatsheet goes a long way to learning!

Ok, so if you're going to try out my hotkey mapping system, I have a couple of resources for you here.

If you want to use it as-is, then the PNG is good enough. But if you want to customize it, I've got you covered: a browser can easily read the kicad-keymaps.svg but if you want to edit it, any vector graphics program will do but I recommend using the wonderful https://inkscape.org/

Vector programs can be a bit of a learning curve, but I find inkscape really good and it's free, so there are tons of excellent tutorials online. But really, the basics aren't all that hard.

Anyway, the point of using an SVG here is mainly that the text in there is *actual text* so you can move it around but also change the wording, as well as fonts, size colour whatever.

So have fun customizing your mapping and cheatsheet, and I'd love it if you'd share what your preferred layout is (@ me on the twatter or whatever).

Salut,
PatD
