как правильно перевести следующее предложение:
As soon as she started to speak, everybody liked her.

Она всем понравилась, как только начала говорить

Почему вместо me не стоит I....??? ....ведь так было-бы логичней......

Потому, что в дословно предложение такого типа звучит как "Дети хотели [видеть] меня, чтобы [я мог] рассказать им историю ..." Это не литературный перевод, но так строятся фразы данного типа в английском языке. Ясно дело, правильно переводить "Дети хотели, чтобы я рассказал им историю ..." Тут при переводе происходит перестройка предожения под русский стиль речи. А в оригинале оно строится по английским правилам.
